The Venice Media District kicked off its inaugural “Venice Tech Speaker Series,” last Thursday evening, July 18th, 2013, from 6-9 pm at NextSpace @ Amplify. Over 70 attendees turned out for the premiere event to hear from featured speaker Founder/Managing Director Chris Raih of ad agency Zambezi and his inspirational talk about “Entrepreneurship in Silicon Beach.” Attendees were also able to mix and mingle before the presentation, and afterwards. The new, quarterly series, which is dedicated to helping define the Venice Tech community, was produced by the VMD Committee with support from the Venice Chamber of Commerce (VCC) (http://venicechamber.net/).
