Sunday, August 22, 2010 marked the 4th Annual Supergirl Jam at Venice Beach, California. Embodying the power of DC Comics’ iconic hero, SUPERGIRL, this event marks the third stop in the 2010 Supergirl Jam series, the action sports industry’s largest all-female competition and lifestyle festival. Over 50 female action sports pros gathered in Venice Beach, CA for a day of competition and empowerment. A 20-foot tall course onto which 80,000 pounds of snow was packed for the snowboard rail jam contest. X-Games medalist Alexis Sablone took the Skateboard Street competition, and Danyale Patterson took home $5000 for the snowboard rail competition. Check out some from the event.
