Venice Beach Based Video Army LLC was asked to film and promote a public service announcement for the South Dakota Indian Tribes due to the recent storms which greatly affected the region impacting thousands of people who don’t have power and water and the basic necessities needed to survive. An open call to all Native American actors was placed and we saw tremendous response to this call for help. The PSA is scheduled to launch this week online and encourages people to share their concerns at their new website, http://www.ShiftThePowerToThePeople.org. Notable actors include; from the upcoming “Twilight” films, Noah Hunt, BooBoo Stuart, Alex Meraz, Justin Chon, Gil Birmingham, Brianna Womick, Julie Jones, Qorianka Kilder and Chaske Spencer. There were many more actors and actresses who showed up including stars from the hit series “Heroes”, Actors from “Apocalypto” and many more. Thanks go out to all who donated their time to this worthy cause.
