On June 28th the Rotary Club of Playa Venice Sunrise held its annual Demotion Dinner where the outgoing officers are thanked and the new Board of Directors and President are installed. On Friday the Club thanked outgoing President Jim (Bear) Vuchsas for his leadership and dedication to the Club’s success. Under his Presidency the Club was recognized as one of three Clubs in the 66 Club District 5280 as a “Club of Excellence.” We welcomed Tom Carson as the 2013-2014 President, along with his Board of Directors and Board of Trustees.
The Rotary Club of Playa Venice Sunrise is a membership based non-profit service organization dedicated to “Service Above Self.” We meet weekly on Wednesdays at 7:15 AM at the Hotel MDR in Marina del Rey. Those interested are invited visit our web site Playasunrise.org.
