ABOUT THE ARTIST & REITER GALLERY OWNER: Mitch Reiter, a SoCal native, is a free-lance photographer with an urban edge. Born right off of Venice Blvd. in 1973, and raised by a modest, hard working family, he learned at an early age how to capture the beauty he familiarized himself with as a young skater kid. Mitch is no stranger to the art scene, having spent his youth beautifying the back alleys and walls of Los Angeles as one of the founding fathers of AWR ….he stumbled into photography 10 years ago, and only recently, after raising a family at a young age, decided to pursue his talent on a higher level. Mitch’s eclectic spin is seen throughout all of his photos, and his background of 13+ years owning his own graphic art business provided the perfect foundation for his unique style of photography. After a successful career and outlet in photography, Mitch Reiter now offers his prints on canvas to capture the moment in its rawest form. You can see his work at various events throughout SoCal or in his art gallery on the Venice boardwalk.
