Over 175 plates of delish beer-batter fish and fries were served at Earl’s Gourment Grub Lucky Fryday event on Friday, August 13th. This event was all about great food, drinks and spending time with your Mar Vista neighbor. In addition to the fish and chips, there were libations courtesy of Angel City Brewing, sides, desserts and ginger lemonade by Earl’s. This was an amazing community event that happened in the back courtyard patio that is shared by Earl’s Gourmet and Venice Grind. Rumor has it there will be more events like this one in the future. May I suggest a community pancake breakfast. I will have my pancakes with a Venice Grind’s chai latte with soy milk.
