(12.04.09  ABBOT KINNEY FIRST FRIDAYS.  VENICE, CA)  The Venice Paparazzi crew roamed Abbot Kinney Blvd. for the December edition of First Fridays. We first spotted local Venice Boardwalk Artists on Electric and California. Next Santa and the Christmas Carolers, including local celebrities Kathy Leronardo and Suzy Williams, entertaining the masses. Next we stopped at Nitespa for the a solo exhibition and sale of Venice artist and filmmaker Lalla Robinson’s new collection of work. After that we stopped in for Aviator Nation’s grand opening party. This good looking crowd mingled amongst racks of vibrant colored clothing, while sipping on complimentary drinks. Later on, we stopped in Trim to say hi to DJ Lou E Bagel. Lastly, we hit Zingara for hot cider and s’mores on their scenic holiday themed back patio. There was a naked lady walking around trying on cloths. It was odd, however it seemed to put everyone in a good mood. Looking around this family owned business, I took note at how every spot in the store had a personal touch to it. This was a great community event. The holiday spirit was in the air.
