The Playa-Venice Rotary Club hosted and organized the Firestation 63 Pancake Breakfast on May 1st, 2010. Over 800 people were served from 8:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. The $5 Pancake Breakfast meal included pancakes, sausages, eggs, coffee and orange juice. Also included was a live magic show and balloons provided to the children by Marie. In between breakfast, the kids and adults got a chance to check out the shiny red firetrucks. The Spideman jumper was also a huge hit with the kids. One boy kept saying, “come in” as I snapped some shots of the kids playing in the jumper. I couldn’t disappoint the boy so I jumped in, took some pics and jumped some more. What a fun day at the Firestation 63 and in Venice.
