New to the Venice nightlife is Acoustic Tuesdays at the Whaler, presented by Kaycee & Jeremy Parker. This past Tuesday, February 9th, brought in some of Venice’s greatest local talent. This hard hitting line-up included Butterfly of Finn Hill, Corey Phillips, Carter Falco, Jack Folgers, Crash, Amy, and of course, the Jeremy Parker, of one of my favorite local bands Meet me at the Pub. This was a great way to spend a Tuesday night in Venice. At one part of the night, I could not help but smile at this cute couple who were snuggled together in the corner. They looked really content. Lastly, I would like to thank Captain Gerry of Fire Station 63 and Gisele of Party by 5 for sharing their seafood platter with me, and a bunch of other Venice misfits. Yummy Whaler seafood!
