Venice Paparazzi turned the corner on Rose and Main St., biked a couple of blocks north to Santa Monica’s 10th Annual Summer Soulstice Festival. There were six stages, 24 live bands, a children’s area, sidewalk sale, and more. Another great day in the neighborhood. There were people dancing in the streets, eating, shopping and smiling while enjoying this great free community event. At times, I even found myself dancing in the streets. Fun!
About Main Street: Main Street Santa Monica is an eclectic collection of restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and various services stretching for about a mile from Pico south to the Santa Monica City limit. It is NOT the Mall. Historic, and going Green, the street offers shopping and dining experiences that we’re sure you’ll enjoy.
Beside the annual summer soulstice event, additional events to check out on Main Street include: the weekly Farmer’s Market every Sunday at Heritage Square, the annual Holiday event, and Last Fridays.
