Here is a message from Modo Yoga LA!
HERE IS THIS WEEK’S LINE UP FOR THEIR LIVE STREAMING / RECORDED CLASSES.
Here is a message from Modo Yoga LA on March 16th. These are strange times and though we may be physically separated, we can still be very much connected. We offer you these classes to allow you to breath, feel, move and connect to this amazing community all over the world. We are in this together.
So many of you have asked us how you can help us while the studios are shut down for which we are so grateful. If you feel moved to support, we set up a link to do so.
Our classes are still all streaming on Instagram live feed. We‘ll post our schedules daily so you can join. Classes will all be up for 24 hours after being live for you to enjoy.

CANCELLED: Modo Yoga LA’s karma class on Friday, March 13th.
Modo Yoga LA is fantastic! The teachers are super rad, it’s 100 degrees with 50% humidity and you sweat like a demon!
Not only does Modo Yoga LA have a $50/month “30 days unlimited classes” special for newcomers, they also have KARMA – donation based classes.
Each week, all Modo Yoga studios offer donation-based classes to raise funds for local and international not-for-profit organizations. Through their Karma Classes, they reach out, give back, and help support positive change. Since 2004, Modo Studios have collectively raised over 3.2 million dollars, thanks in part to their Karma Classes.
All proceeds from the March 13th’s Modo Karma Class goes to JungleKeepers.
ABOUT MODO YOGA!
What is Modo Yoga? All Modo Yoga classes are built on the foundation of our Modo series – a dynamic system of postures and breathing exercises specifically designed to be practiced in the heat. Modo classes are accessible to all, from beginners to advanced students. A typical Modo class will have around 40 postures. Each class is intended to open, strengthen and relax the entire body.
How hot is Modo Yoga? Classes are heated to around 40 degrees celsius with about 40% humidity. External weather conditions and the number of students in the class can have an effect on the temperature inside the room. If you’ve never practiced hot yoga before it might feel quite hot during your first class, but over time, your body will acclimatize to the heat. Students are encouraged move through each class at their own pace, taking rest and water when needed.
What are some of the benefits of yoga? Yoga builds strength and flexibility. It also makes us more aware of our breath, which ultimately helps to relax and calm the body and mind. People who practice regularly often notice that they are happier, have better focus, and are more able to handle the stresses of everyday life.
Is Modo yoga a cardio workout? Yup, it sure is!
