What a day! A gorgeous blue sky, throngs of smiling faces, great food, drinks, entertainment, and a super positive vibe!

About the Abbot Kinney Festival:

Founded in 1984, the Abbot Kinney Festival in Venice is one of the most popular festivals in Southern California, attracting nearly 100,000 attendees each year. The Festival spans a one mile stretch of the world-famous Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The event featured 4 live music stages, artisan food vendors & food trucks, 350+ vendors, and 5 beer gardens. The immensely popular KidsQuad has rides, family entertainment, and interactive activities for all ages. There is literally something for everyone!

One very cool fact about the event is that some of proceeds go directly back into the community in the form of the AK Fest Community Grants that are awarded at the festival every year.

About the AKF Community Grant: Funded by festival proceeds, the AKFA Community Grants Program awards funding to selected Venice-based nonprofit organizations that offer services and programs aimed at youth and families. Since 1984, well over $300,000 in festival proceeds have been invested into the community of Venice.
