Calling all locals!  Join in the Venice Beach fun at the 4th Annual  Harrison Ave’s Block Party.

Here is a message from event organizers Ruth and Mike Newhouse. 

Hope you can join us again on July 4th for our 5th annual block party on Harrison Ave from 12:30pm until 8:30pmish when most people head out to watch the fireworks.

There will be food trucks to purchase food, face painting, live music, an 18 ft inflatable slide, carousel bouncy house, and a five in one inflatable sports game.  The kids zone and inflatables are graciously sponsored by Tami Pardee and Halton Pardee – a big thank you to our ongoing community partner Tami & Halton Pardee Properties for sponsoring these again!  There will also be a basketball hoop, soccer goals, hulahoops, potato sacks, sidewalk chalk and more.

Special thanks to some more of our community partners First Team Security Inc. for sponsoring the portable bathrooms, and to Newhouse Law Group PC for sponsoring the cost of insuring the event and other miscelleneous costs.

We will have a long communcal table in the center of the street, with some tasty chips, dips, apps, snacks and sweets set up. We will have another area set up for the bar.

Please bring a dish or drinks to share, and bring your friends.  The more the merrier. Should be a lot of fun!
