Many came out for James’ Beach’s traditional Easter Egg Brunch, Egg Dyeing Bar and live jazz from Cool Beat Borscht on Sunday, April 4th. The menu included homemade scones coast toast eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, sautéed string beans, poached salmon, spinach salad caesar salad, fresh fruit salad, chicken salad, neuske ham, ham, and an assortment of sushi. The bloody marys, mimosas and screwdrivers were also a big hit with everyone. At the end of the brunch, when the 7.2 earthquake hit, many were oblivious and suspected they were extra strong. Anyway, it was fun way to celebrate Easter. Great food, friends and family at our local neighborhood restaurant.
