Pull up to the  Venice Pier on Dec. 4  at 7:00 a.m.  and get your beach clean up on!

Volunteers are invited to join Oceanic Global and Venice Surfing Association, as well as other ocean change-makers in the Venice community for a Call to Earth Day litter cleanup of the area surrounding Venice Pier, preventing marine debris and microplastics from entering our waterways. Help us protect our coastal habitats and connect with our partners!

Activities:

  • ~ 7:00 AM Volunteer Sign-in

  • ~7:15 AM Grounding Practice and opening  remarks by the Venice Surfing Association and Oceanic Global

  • ~7:30 AM Cleanup to protect Venice!

  • ~ 8:30 AM Impact Sorting, Letter Writing to Future Selves & Closing Remarks

 

Volunteers will be provided with clean-up supplies, including gloves and bags. Come dressed comfortably for the clean-up, we recommend closed-toe shoes and bring your reusable water bottle. If you’d like, feel free to bring your own gardening gloves and reusable bags!
