Truck Box and Tide-Eye threw down on the big stage at Dudley Pergolas for the grand finale’ of the Last Thursday Venice Summer Concert Series! The show started earlier than usual, at 5:30 p.m., to accommodate for two bands and the sun, which apparently had something to else do, and dipped out around 7:00 p.m. 🙂
After the show ended just after 7:30 p.m., the party continued with live music at the following venues:
- Venice Beach Bar: Howler Honey
- Venice Ale House: DJ Claudio
- Fig Tree: Everything Trio
- Gingerbread Court: Mike Watt
- Waterfront Venice: Juice SK8 Face screening
A giant fist bump to the everyone on the team that made this four event series a smashing success. And a huge high five to the bands and the community members that came out and played, danced, sang and brought good times and great vibes to the party!
We are very much looking forward to doing in again next year!
The 2024 Last Thursday Venice Summer Concert Series was a four part, free, live music event that took place at the Dudley Pergolas on the Venice Boardwalk the last Thursday of June, July, August and Sept. The shows were between 90 minutes and two hours and ended just after sunset with five local, north boardwalk venues hosting live music events after the free outdoor show ended.
The overarching idea of the series was to provide a fun, free activation for the community and to bring people and vibrancy to the north end of the boardwalk.
The Last Thursday Venice Summer Concert Series is collaborative effort between:
- The Venice Beach Business Improvement District
- L.A. Rec. & Parks
- Councilwoman Traci Park
- Brian Averill
- And Venice Paparazzi’s Alex Stowell
