About this event
- Event lasts 3 hours
Let’s clean our beach in Marina Del Rey! 🙌 We will have music, cleaning supplies, pastries and Tayst sustainable coffee pod offerings for your take away and an afterparty at Hinanos!
Trash is accumulating in California’s ocean at such an alarming rate it is impacting wildlife, aquatic life, public health and the fertility of our ocean. During our efforts to “Pick Up For Paradise” we will be collecting and recording data (plastic and foreign debris) to help advance environmental legislation.
Event Details:
Please consider a hat, wear layers and sun protection, like reef-safe organic sunscreen
Wear closed-toe shoes to make sure you don’t step on anything sharp
Drinking water (preferred non-plastic reusable bottle – if you bring a single-use plastic bottle, you may be called out to do pushups by one of our hosts!)
Fresh cotton gloves and buckets for collection are provided
Feel free to bring a cooler with ice with refreshments
Parking:
Will be a little challenging so please give yourself time to find it! Once you find parking in the neighborhood just walk to the beach and you will see a From The Heart Tribe flag and tent for our starting point.
You should be able to find parking on Pacific Ave which is perpindicular to Catamaran. There is also beach parking at the Pier for $22.00.
After Party Details: meet at Hinanos 12:15pm. With drink and food specials offering to our “Pick up For Paradise” crew. 😊 15 Washington Blvd, Venice, CA 90292

Our heroine, Dr. Sylvia Earle, says in the documentary Mission Blue: “We have not just an opportunity, we have the responsibility to get it right”.
Thank you and hope to see you there!
