Hundreds came out and participated in opening day for North Venice Little League, despite the steady rain! It went from a drizzle to a downpour and back, but that did not stop the Opening Day ceremonies. Folks enjoyed a pancake breakfast, speeches, introductions, and more. The Venice Paparazzi Social Booth was on the scene to capture the festive players and parents. See photos below:
The morning’s schedule included:
- 8:30 AM: Pancake breakfast begins @ the Snack Bar
- 8:30 AM: Apparel sales
- 8:45 AM: Player line up on the field with their managers (Head Coaches)
- 9:00 AM National Anthem
- 9:00 AM: “Welcome” speech by NVLL President, Mark Hill
