USA Today, the newspaper, is running a “best of “contest, and Venice’s beloved Ocean Front Walk has made it into the finals for the “Best Boardwalk in America!”
Fun fact: The Venice Boardwalk is actually a park, and is maintained by L.A. City Dept. of Recreation and Parks. The HQ and website info. is below:

Another fun fact: Venice Paparazzi got its start selling photo key chains on the Venice Boardwalk in 2003. That’s right from 2003 to 2006 the founders of Venice Paparazzi were full time boardwalk vendors, slanging $5 key chains at the southern end of the vending area, by 17th ave. and the blue basketball court.
