It is time to a huge Westside welcome to 2025 as it barrels into reality at light speed! There are an almost endless amount of choices for things to do on New Year’s Eve., so your friends at Venice Paparazzi thought to save you the research time, do you a solid, and make a list of the best of the best NYE activities. We broke it down into 3 categories: Free events, ticketed celebrations, pre-game spots, So here ya go!
Free events:
Free community NYE Fireworks and Glow party at Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey:
The Venice Paparazzi team will have 2 of our world famous, super fun, green screen photo booths here! Come say hi!

Gin Rummy:
It’s game on a Gin Rummy for NYE 2025!
Their free Hot Funk Disco Party officially starts at 7:30 p.m. and goes into 2025 with live music by Jules Duke at 8:00 p.m. and DJ sets by: Barrett, DJ Entre, and Jayvon.
Nalu Vida:
Washington Squares new kid on the block , Nalu Vida, bringing the vibes into 2025 with a free disco, rock, hip hop party. No cover, just your best moves!
La Cabana:
Open until 3:00 a.m. on NYE, and it is free to get in!The official first party of 2025! Pull up to the fiesta at the OG of OG Venice restaurants, La Cabana, who just celebrated 60 years in business! Congrats to the whole crew!
Hinano Cafe:
Usher in 2025 at a free event with local legend, Hinano Cafe! Live music, multiple complimentary champagne toasts, lots of your friends, some strangers, and more
Tony P’s Dockside Grill:
Ring in NYE 2025 at Tony P’s in the marina! Dine at Tony P’s after 9:00 p.m. and keep your table into the new year and dance the night away in The Tavern with no cover ($20 otherwise).
Tavern on Main: It’s free, and they have $5 Patron shots, $6 Miller Lites, $7 Deep Eddy Harvey Wallbangers, and complimentary champagne toasts for all the U.S time zones!
Ticketed events:
Open bar, dedicated servers, live entertainment, complimentary cocktails, and more are all on the menu on this curated list of ticketed Westside NYE celebrations
Winston House:
Sadly, this is the last day that Winston House will be open. Come get the last hoorah with our friends on Windward ave. $150 GA ticket includes open bar.
Belles Beach House:
Pull up to Belles for a NYE Bash featuring DJ’s, a Venice Paparazzi Photo Booth, surprises, and more. Table reservations available. $50 GA includes 2 specialty cocktails.
The Venice West:
Bring in 2205 with a live show from funk/rock fusionist George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners as well as Trulio Disgracias and DJ Cody Peyote
High Rooftop Lounge:
Close out the year in a place we call home @ Hotel Erwin. Join us for a complimentary NYE Toast during our final world famous Sunset of 2024. Complimentary toast by Jon Bon Jovi’s Hampton Water Rose Bubbly
Owa:
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with us 🪩🥂 limited seats remain for our five-course dinner, or join us after hours for a late night DJ set, dance party, and midnight toast ✨ dinner reservations are available now here.

The Warehouse: Come join us on New Year’s eve for a night of dancing with RocknRetro (80’s disco cover band and other great hits), Surf & Turf, with a choice of a lobster tail or king crab legs for $90.00) and of course Fireworks!! Our regular menu will be served from 12pm-until…? The band starts at 9pm. The cover charge will be $30.00 at the door, which will include party favors, all night access to the dance floor, and a champagne toast at midnight.
Time for Pregame! Everyone knows that a proper pregame is paramount! These venues are open, and close, early so you can get your fun started ASAP!
Hama Sushi:
Hit Hama for NYE pregame, sushi is always a good choice to fuel up for a night out.
Penmar: Do your pre-pregame at Penmar! Start early as they close at 3:00 p.m. Perhaps even play a round of golf!
The Sidewalk Cafe: Get your game on early at The Sidewalk! Open until 8:00 p.m., there will be lots of surprise in house specials for NYE and you can chill outside on their Ocean Front Walk patio.
