Here is a message from Santa Monica Chamber President Judy Kruger.
Toast of Santa Monica, last Thursday, was a huge success! Many thanks go out to the 22 sponsors who made the event happen and to the 265 guests who brought their elegant business-beach vibe to the annual board installation and networking experience.
Thank you to our host – The Fairmont Miramar Hotels and Bungalows Santa Monica
SAMOHI Band played jazzy tunes while guests sipped AJA Vineyards refreshing wine under the iconic fig tree in the front cobblestone courtyard. Venice Paparazzi captured forever red carpet memories for all to enjoy.
Vice Major Lana Negrete swore in the new 2024-2025 board and raised the toast with well-wishes for a vibrant year ahead.
Four awardees earned their time in the spotlight: Julia Ladd, Len Lanzi, David Woodbury, and Jeff Jarow, took away the leadership awards.
Rick Caruso brought an engaging and delightful conversation to the stage tackling relevant issues with humor and candor, ending the discussion with the urge to “dress well and work hard!”
The evening concluded with a gift to Boys & Girls Club, Brynja Seagren, CEO accepting.
Truly a memorial event – mark you calendars for next year – an annual event you won’t want to miss!!!
