Start at the Pier, finish at the Pier!
Registration is now open for the first annual Venice Beach Run, which takes place on Saturday, July 20, starting and finishing at the Venice Beach Pier! Proceeds benefit the Los Angeles Parks Foundation to support the Venice Beach Recreation Center.
LA Parks Foundation was founded in 2008 to enhance and preserve the City’s public parks & recreation. The race is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Participants can sign up for a 5K or 1 Mile Race/ Walk with the 5K starting at 8am and the 1 mile at 9am. The Beach Fitness Challenge & Expo along with Awards Ceremony commence at 10am. All participants will receive a commemorative die-cast VB 5K & 1 Mile Finisher Medal, premium beach t-shirt, and string bag along with access to sampling and exhibitor booths.
Race To The Pier 1 Mile is open to youth & adults who are speed oriented. 5K is flat and fast, starting and finishing at the end of the Venice Beach Pier. The remainder of the course will cover the historic Venice Beach Board Walk. The finish line celebration event will run from 8am to noon at the world famous Venice Beach Pier with access to fitness expos and samplings from various local shops & eateries.

5K is flat and fast. Starts and Finishes inside at the end of the Venice Beach Pier about 600 yards into the ocean. The remainder of the course will cover the historic Venice Beach Board Walk.
The 1 mile will start on the Boardwalk and finish inside at the end of the pier.
