Rose Avenue pulled out all the stops to commemorate National Rosé Day this year, hosting a remarkable celebration of everything pink at the inaugural Rosé on Rose Wine Fest. This vibrant event, held in support of the Venice Family Clinic, attracted an impressive turnout of more than 500 attendees who reveled in the festivities. The festival showcased the street’s most beloved restaurants and retail establishments, including businesses such as American Beauty, Cafe Gratitude, Chulita, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Parachute, Rose Room, The Rose Venice, Venice Beach Wines, Wabi on Rose, and Yanapuma Shop.

Among the festival’s standout features was the exclusive VIP Wine Garden at Big Red Sun, where guests were treated to a handpicked selection of curated wines presented by Norma Alvarado, owner and wine curator of Venice Beach Wines. The garden also marked the debut of their 2022 rosé from Côte du Provence, aptly named Rosé on Rose. Additionally, attendees enjoyed the opportunity to indulge in $7 glasses of rosé at each participating venue, music from Soundbox Truck, brews in the beer garden from Venice Duck,  relished a delightful 25% off scoops at Jeni’s, and took advantage of 33% off merchandise at Yanapuma Shop, which also served as the venue for the Disco & Recovery Lounge by Superbloom Collective,  sponsored by Dulce Vida Tequila.

The day was a whirlwind of delightful blush experiences, combining the exquisite taste of rosé, live music that set the mood, irresistible discounts, and the unique, eclectic ambiance that characterizes Venice’s Rose Avenue. Beyond the revelry, the festival carried a deeper significance by raising awareness and support for the Venice Family Clinic, an organization also on Rose Avenue dedicated to delivering quality healthcare to individuals in need.

The festivities culminated in the official after-party at the Rose Room, where attendees grooved to the beats spun by DJ D-Roc, received exciting giveaways from Summer Water, and basked in the joyous atmosphere of a day well spent drinking rosé all day and supporting local businesses. Anticipation for next year’s Rosé on Rose Wine Fest has already began to build, promising a bigger celebration in the future.
