The Venice Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m.
A message from First Lutheran Church:
First Lutheran Church invites the community to the grand opening of its Free outdoor playground located at 815 Venice Blvd offering a play space where children can slide, climb, play basketball, kick soccer balls and play in a sandbox.
The playground will be open every Saturday morning from 10am to noon and is free!
“There are few playgrounds in our neighborhood and we are excited to make ours available. Many families with children will benefit having a safe enclosed play space and this is another opportunity for local families to come together as a community” …Pastor John Palka.
The Grand Opening in addition to the Playground features will offer free lemonade, coffee and cookies.
First Lutheran Church of Venice was founded in 1944 and the Open Playground is just one part of the church’s commitment to offer friendly hospitality and has partnered with Venice Moms and the Ecole Claire Fontaine Pre-School to create this community free and safe place to play.
