You’re invited to the Venice – Abbot Kinney Memorial Branch Library Open House on Sept. 17th!

Snakes, swords, and swing dancing! Celebrate the Venice – Abbot Kinney Memorial Branch Library at this all day event. We will have performers for all ages, crafts, giveaways, a raffle and more.
- 11 a.m. Thor’s Reptile Family: Enjoy a one hour hands-on program and educational show featuring arthropods, amphibians and reptiles of all sizes.
- 1 p.m. Game on Stunt Team: Learn about the history of swords and see a demonstration of a staged sword fight in this exciting, interactive program. Participants will have an opportunity to hold swords in a safe environment.
- 3 p.m. Swing Band and Dance Lesson: Join us for a swinging good time! Listen to a high-energy live swing band and take a beginner swing dance lesson. All levels are welcome.
Whether you are a book worm, an artist, or want some exercise, the Venice Library has something fun for you! Come join your community!
