Venice Paparazzi was on the scene at the LA Rams- Venice Sign lighting on Sept. 16, 2016.  View video and event pics below.

A message from the Venice Chamber of Commerce:  The people of Venice joined together to welcome the Los Angeles Rams back to town!  Venice High School’s football team, principal, head coach, students and parents all joined in on the celebration.  There was a Rams football obstacle course that tested the kids’ skills, and live performances by local musical artists.

Rams Exec VP Kevin Demoff and Rams legends Orlando Pace, Jack Youngblood, and Tom Mack, as well as Council member Mike Bonin took the stage, to change the Venice Sign from the classic white to the Rams navy and gold.

Welcome back, Rams.

A little Venice Sign History!  Spanning across Windward Avenue at Pacific, the VENICE Sign in lights is a modern day replica of the one originally installed in 1905 by the legendary Abbot Kinney.  It is a defining symbol of Venice, past and present.

In 2007, the Venice Sign Restoration Project recreated and installed the contemporary version of this historic sign. Since that time the Venice Chamber has been responsible for the sign and for protecting its trademark.  For more info, visit VeniceChamber.net
