About BBTM:
Last fall, we started hosting small patio concerts to create space for much-needed connection and community. Each show brought more magic, so we decided to turn this into a thing. Introducing Bring Back The Music, an intimate outdoor concert series to bring meaningful live music experiences to both artists and fans. Keep up to date on all upcoming shows by following our new Instagram: @bbtm_la.
For those that are new, here’s what is important to Bring Back The Music:
– All proceeds go back to the artists: making a living making music is always hard and we want to honor and value anyone who pours their heart out on stage 🎶
– It’s about community: the shows take place in our backyard, and we invite you to stay after to meet the artists, make new friends, and hang with us around the bonfire 🔥
– It’s about the music: Our shows are listening room style – We are here to bring together incredible, diverse talent and attentive audiences who are equally passionate about the music ❤️
– We are committed to diversity and social justice: we will work to feature women, BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ artists ✊🏾
– We are about compassion: while COVID-19 still poses risks to our communities we are limiting ticket sales and ask that everyone bring a mask. They are required in indoor spaces 😷
– We are partnering with the incredible High Plateau Productions to produce these shows, and are always looking for new friends, local artists and brands who can add more magic to these events!
Hope to see you soon!
About the artists:
Balcony Weekend: When SoCal natives Labit & LeyeT met at a mutual friend’s house a few years ago, their shared roots as solo singer songwriters sparked what would become a close cowriting relationship, leading them to write and release a single about friendship together, ‘Here For You.’ Soon after though, taking a quick trip to San Clemente with only an acoustic guitar, sitting out on an oceanfront balcony, they ended up writing what has now turned into their first EP together and Balcony Weekend was born.
Spanning the themes of growth, relationship, self introspection and living in the moment, Balcony Weekend debuted their first EP in 2021, titled “Remember Everything” which landed the group on Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Pop and Apple Music’s Acoustic Summer.
Bay Area native, Angelo Vivo, is what many would call a quadruple threat, and with a background in singing, songwriting, dancing, and martial arts, he uses his gifts and talents to bring joy, to encourage, and to inspire. His love for music sparks from greats like Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, John Legend, and Usher. Angelo has taken that inspiration and spent the past few years dabbling in multiple genres, mixing Pop, R&B, and Soul influences to create fresh new songs of his own.
Tori Leppert: I’m Tori, and it’s so nice to meet you 🙂 I’m a Folk Singer/Songwriter from Chicago, IL. now settled in Los Ángeles. I’ve performed all around LA, Chicago, and other cities including venues such as The Bourbon Room, Harvelle’s Blues Club, The Canopy Club, The Elbo Room, and more. I also work in LA as a 6th-8th grade Music Teacher.
I’m currently still writing, performing online, and recording a new EP that is acoustic, raw, and personal.
I’m a full-time Teacher, Musician, and hippie. I’m so happy you found my page. Check out my newest single “home” on ALL streaming platforms.
The Minnesota Child is the moniker of Los-Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ethan Buckner. His songs blend soulful melodies, stirring lyrics, and intricate harmonies to produce a rhythmic indie folk/pop sound that inspires and connects listeners. In 2016, Ethan teamed up with his brother, drummer and producer Matt Buckner, to infuse his raw and emotional songs with a lush and symphonic sound. In February 2018, TMC debuted as a full band headlining Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. His most recent record, Fireflies, is “a life affirming, joyful collection of songs that find the beauty in both the dark and the light” (Impose).
