It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, 05/23/21, and Venetians came out en masse to socialize for what for some was the first in person party since the virus lockdowns started in Mar. 2020.
The occasion was the Arbor Collective’s Venice Votes party, which was held to make it easy and fun to request a mail in ballot for the upcoming Venice Neighborhood Council Election.
There was endless free beer from Firestone Walker, limitless sliders and hot dogs from Mercede’s Grill, stand up comedy from Bronston Jones’ Venice Underground Comedy crew, music by DJ Maxim Adams b2b Dwade, and a whole lot of folks smiling and catching up. A big fist bump to Bob Carlson, Arbor’s founder, for putting the entire thing on.
