The Venice Neighborhood Council is looking to fill 2 open Board seats at their March meeting!
Here is the VNC Community Officer application and instructions to submit. Deadline to submit is April 10, 2020.
Instructions: Stakeholders (those who live, work, or own property within the VNC boundaries) are welcomed to apply for consideration for the Community Officer’s position on the Venice Neighborhood Council (VNC) Board of Officers. Nominations were opened at the February 18th Board meeting at which time applications will be available as well as online at: Click here for application.
Applications must be returned by email to [email protected] by April 10th 5PM or brought to the VNC Adcom meeting on Monday, April 10th at Extra Space Storage Community Room, 658 Venice Blvd, Venice, CA 90291, at which time the nominations will be closed.
The Board will select a new member at the April 21, 2020 board meeting held at Westminster Elementary School, 1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd, starting at 7pm.
Applicants need to show proof that they are stakeholders either at the Adcom or Board meetings and will give a short presentation at the Board meeting. No representatives will be permitted to speak for the applicant.
Applicant’s name and answers to these questions will be made public, but not contact information such as address, phone number and email address.

To improve the quality of life in Venice by building community and to secure support from the City of Los Angeles for the resources needed to achieve our goals.

Venice NC General Board meetings are regularly scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm at Westminster Elementary School 1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd, unless otherwise noted on the calendar and posted agenda. www.venicenc.org
