Join nonprofit A Window Between Worlds at it’s 20th annual community art festival Art in the Afternoon for a fun-filled day with activities for all ages!
Admission includes multiple opportunities for festival goers to make their own art, including creating personalized tool kits, modeled after AWBW’s dynamic arts curriculum, to promote creativity and wellness in their daily lives. There will be fun-filled activities for all ages: face painting and special effects make-up; flower crown making; a beer and wine garden; carnival games with prizes; a bounce slide; and an incredible silent auction.
This year’s festival will be emceed by Wendy Burch, Emmy-winning journalist currently reporting for award-winning KTLA Morning News on Channel 5 and her four-year old son Brady Burch. The viral tap group Syncopated Ladies will also appear on stage, along with popular interactive performances by Hoop It Up Kids and LA Dancefit.
All proceeds benefit the thousands of trauma survivors served each year by AWBW’s healing arts program.
