About Beach City Kitties:
Beach City Kitties in a non profit cat rescue in Venice Beach, California, run by Katelyn Michele and her paw some volunteer team. Katelyn runs Beach City Kitties out of her Venice Beach Bungalow, where she live with husband-James, cats-Bella, Jinksie, Jem, Lil Bit, Weenie and Chihuahua Pepper.
.
We rescue kitties weekly from the streets and high kill shelters, rehabilitate and foster, then find them forever homes by the beach. Beach City Kitties’ goal is to end the problem of homeless cats, make Los Angeles a “No Kill City”, and have fun while doing it.
Beach City Kitties concentrates on cat rescue efforts in Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Playa Del Rey, the South Bay and beyond.. After all, what kitty wouldn’t want to live by the beach? Our hip, young team of volunteers helps us throw fun adoption events and fundraisers In Venice Beach and surrounding beach communities. We are fixing up a 1954 Metro Van, that will serve as as a mobile cat rescue center and will be out every weekend throwing pop up events at street fairs, art crawl, First Fridays, farmers markets, pier concerts, the boardwalk, etc.
Beach City Kitties philosophy is to combine beach lifestyle, creative Venice spirit and Cat Rescue. Our passions include art, photography, media and events. We use these to build awareness, find forever homes and raise money for cat rescue. Ww also love to meet people, mingle, network and support my community.
.
Beach City Kitties is always looking for new fosters and volunteers!
