Here is a message from the Venice Beach Freakshow!
We have some very sad news…..our building has been bought and the new owners are pushing us out of our space. I have done all I can to stop this, but unfortunately, there is nothing else we can do. We have to be out by May 1st, so this will be our last full weekend of shows until we find a new space. If you want to see the Freakshow as it’s been for 11 years…..

JOIN US on SUNDAY, APRIL 30th, 2017 for the VENICE BEACH FREAKSHOW Farewell Party and Protest!!! This is our very last day in our space because we are getting pushed out by our new owners. If you are frustrated by the negative changes that are going on in Venice, then Make Sure that you attend and Let your voice be heard through celebration and protest. This is a FREE EVENT!!!
The company who owns the lease (Snapshot Partners LLC) has said they want to do “renovations” and all of the businesses in this building are being pushed out…. except Snapchat, who say they have nothing to do with Snapshot Partners LLC and according to an article in LA Business Journal (below), Snap has first rights of refusal on all of the spaces in this building once everyone is pushed out—The Freakshow seems to be another casualty of “Silicon Beach” and the greed of developers.
Please come out on Sunday, April 30th between 12-6pm and celebrate Venice, Let Your Freak Flag Fly, and show your support for the community….Remember, It is a Community, NOT a Corporate Campus!! Please INVITE EVERYONE, SHARE This Page, SPREAD The Word, and RSVP!! This is your Last Chance to PARTY With The VENICE BEACH FREAKSHOW!!!! About: The Venice Beach Freakshow is the last true Freakshow left in the world!
