Event: 39th Annual Santa Monica – Venice Christmas Run.

The 39th Annual Santa Monica-Venice Christmas Run introduced a new, fun, fast course. As in previous years, the race start is adjacent to Santa Monica Beach on Barnard Way near the intersection of Ocean Park Blvd. This year, the festivities will again have the legendary Christmas Run 5k and 10k running south from Santa Monica, down the world famous Venice Boardwalk, meandering onto the scenic streets of Venice and finishing at the iconic Venice Pavilion.
So, bring the whole family and all your friends to Santa Monica on December 10, 2016 and enjoy all the fun and festivities at the start area, along the course and at the Venice Pavilion finish line.
Registration Includes: Long Sleeve Tech Running Shirt & Santa Cap, Bib, Chip Timing and Results, Christmas Decoration Finisher’s Medal (fashioned using the same artwork as on the shirt), On-Course and Recovery Refreshments, Pre and Post Race Entertainment, and an Amazing Running Experience along the spectacular Venice Boardwalk!

Start & Finish Lines: As in previous years, the start line will be in Santa Monica on Barnard Way, just South of Ocean Park Blvd. New for 2015 however, the race will finish at the iconic Venice Pavilion on Windward Avenue. The course will wind through the scenic, picturesque streets of Venice and includes a fun, long stretch along the famous Venice Boardwalk.
