About: This popular summer series of free outdoor concerts is held each summer during July and August in one of the most spectacular waterfront settings in Los Angeles, Burton W. Chace Park. Attracting stellar musical talent, four classical music concerts featuring the 75-member Marina del Rey Summer Symphony alternate with four exciting pop concerts on select Thursday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. All concerts take place outside on the green in Burton W. Chace Park, 10-acre park surrounded on three sides by water. Audiences are invited to picnic in advance of each concert. Bring your own low beach chairs and blankets for first-come, first-served seating, and a limited number of chairs are available for rent on site. Come early for best seating, and bring along a jacket or sweater to stay comfortable at night near the water. Burton Chace is located at 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey.

Strollers are welcome too, but no dogs are allowed at Central Park. Join your neighbors, colleagues and friends for a great summer at Playa Vista! Campus Central Park Bandshell is hosting all of this summer’s events due to planned renovations at Concert Park. - Every Sunday in August in Santa Monica! Santa Monica Cultural Affairs present the 9TH ANNUAL JAZZON THE LAWN SUMMER CONCERT SERIES! 5:00-7:00 p.m. Santa Monica Cultural Affairs presents the 8th annual Jazz on the Lawn summer concert series. Bring a picnic, blanket, beach chair, and family and friends of all ages for a sampling of jazz each Sunday in August. Free Admission. Enjoy a different frozen treat weekly including gelato from Tango Mango, natural ice pops from Popshop, Hawaiian shaved ice from Frosty Shave and organic ice cream from Sweet Lucies. Complimentary beverages will be provided each week by either O.N.E. Coconut Water or Hubert’s Lemonade.

- On Sept. 12, 2015, the Venice Beach Music Fest 10 is back for its biggest year with a stellar lineup in music, art, and dance for which the festival has been known for the past eight years. This free-to-the-public, full day of entertainment will be in Windward Plaza Park from 11am – 7:30pm.
