There is a saying in business that personifies the three restaurants on the boardwalk at 19th ave.: Do one thing, and do it better than anyone else.
Well, these places do just that. The restaurant patio on 19th has some of best food on the Oceanfront Walk.
Poke Poke: Serves the classic Hawaiian creation Poke, which is raw tuna chunks prepared with sesame oil, sesame seeds and white and green onions and shoyu. You can have it served over brown or white rice if you wish. Though traditionally is it eaten without. As well, you can customize your poke with avocado, kale, macadamia nuts, carrots, jalapenos or sriachi mayo. This little place has a huge following of rabidly loyal customers. One taste and you will know why. Poke is awesome, pure and simple! Get some!
