It was a star studded, red carpet extravaganza at the 15th Annual Other Venice Film Festival.

The Other Venice Film Festival (OVFF) proudly returned, better than ever, for its 15th season October 5th – 7th, 2018 International film makers descended on Venice for three days of film screenings, premieres, sell out crowds, spirited Q&A sessions, panel discussions, local art, live music and more.

Here is a quote from the event producer, Ruben De La Casas: The spirit of the festival is rooted in the Venice community and celebrates the passion of local artists while embracing the talent of international filmmakers. The caliber of international filmmakers attending the festival this year is something not many other film festivals of our size can take pride in. I am excited to watch the festival as it continues to grow each year.

Opening night included red carpet appearances from Tom Alper, Tim Robinson, and various cast members of the feature film Guest House, as well as the featured short film of the night, Jaglom. Live music was performed by Thomas Simon as well as the Puscie Jones Review. Local favorites Surfside Venice brought the food with Venice Duck Brewery providing the brewskis . It was a fantastic night of community, celebration, and film.
